Women In The Mix

an evergreen initiative

Women In The Mix is a global-based campaign focused on equal representation of females in the music community – specifically, in the producing and engineering fields.  The initiative pledges that at least two females are considered every time a producer or engineer is hired. Due to the campaign’s success, the Academy successfully obtained over 200 company pledges in 2021. 

Though an evergreen initiative, the campaign led up to a live panel discussion featuring female powerhouses in the music industry. This virtual event launched on International Women’s Day and received over XX participants. 

As the project producer and creative lead, I decided to work with a Lebanese illustrator and activist known for her drawings related to women’s rights – these illustrated accents were used throughout the campaign.
