Your Voice Your Vote

Every year, the Recording Academy launches a campaign prompting its members to vote for the GRAMMY Awards. The GRAMMY Award is a peer-voted award and relies on active members to decide the winners. 

As campaign lead, I decided to take this opportunity to photograph extremely beautiful images of our gramophone (as we had very few). In partnership with photographer Jathan Campbell, I helped to creatively direct and assist a gramophone photoshoot. The “Your Voice Your Vote” campaign starred a snapshot of the gramophone (seen to the right).

The Photoshoot

The campaign featured the prominent gramophone image, along with the tagline “Your Voice Your Vote.” I took the first “O” in “Voice” and made it a check-marked circle to represent the voting process. I was responsible for not only the look and feel, but all digital, social, and print assets. This included a two-page spread in Billboard’s Nov. 2021 issue.
